We recently added a sweet little point n shoot camera by @fujifilmx_us. It was intended to capture our family, but then we started bringing it along to our weddings and my goodness it’s been fun.

Chris was able to put together a little home video of their day and now it’s probably one of our new favorite things to add.
This is a little short version we got to send them but we love it!
It’s candid, raw and present in the moment clips.
And we’re here for it🫶🏼

We recently added a sweet little point n shoot camera by @fujifilmx_us. It was intended to capture our family, but then we started bringing it along to our weddings and my goodness it’s been fun.

This memory will forever be etched in my heart.

Maverick asked to come take pictures with me for our sweet friends mama and me session.
I could have easily said “No, mama has to work” because that would be easier, but I chose to embrace his want to help and be involved and I’m so glad I did.

He may only be 3, but he was THE BEST little assist I ever had. He made her baby smile, sang her songs and told her to “say cheeeeeeese” often. It was so sweet.

He then asked for my phone to take pictures like mama and said “I wanna help you mama” so I gladly handed over my phone.

He ended up capturing the sweetest moments.

This is just a reminder, that our babies are watching us.
They want to be just like us, so we have to ask ourselves, what are we modeling to them?
That thought can be so intimidating as parents with having the responsibility to shape them into kind, compassionate, creative , determined little humans.
So even though it may take an extra step or take 5 minutes longer, involve them. Slow down a moment to teach them. Let them get their little hands into what you’re doing.
Who knows, you might make a core memory with them like I did.
